Here on avajane.com I truly enjoy bringing to light small ways that people are making a positive change in the world around them. One area that really strikes me is native indigenous culture. There is so much to learn about how to take care of the environment from these first nation people and how they went about things ages ago.
Children’s Ground comes to us from Australia and is an organization aimed towards nurturing children in their native lands and giving them an understanding of their ancestral history and connection the land.
Donate to their cause if it speaks to you!

Children’s Ground is creating radical change.
Vision
To eradicate extreme poverty and inequity in Australia.
Mission
With communities devastated by intergenerational disadvantage, to create an environment where families realise their aspirations for the next generation of children:
To be free from trauma and suffering
to enjoy equity and safety
to be able to grow into adulthood happy and healthy
and with agency over their social, cultural and economic future.
How do we do this?
We celebrate the extraordinary depth and sophistication of First Nations knowledge, capture local ability and bring the scale and quality of resources needed for all children in a community to have the very best in learning, well-being and development.
